I happily participated to the Swap #11 by the Bookbinding Etsy Street Team.

I love how swaps works (you send a gift to receive another one) and I'm ethusiast to be able to receive something from another bookbinder!

The idea was to make a book that you would be happy to receive, and I decided to experiment something new: the cork.

I love its texture, it speaks for itself and reminds me of wood, forests, nature...

Here's the result, what do you think?

2nd June 1946: Italian people (for the first time, also women), voted to choose between Monarchy and Republic. Since 2001 it's clebrated in the whole country as the Republic Day. So here it is a WFFY inspired by the italian flag colours:

2 giugno 1946: gli Italiani (per la prima volta anche le donne), votano per scegliere tra Monarchia e Repubblica. Dal 2001  in Italia questo giorno è celebrato come la Festa della Repubblica Italiana. Ecco perciò un WFFY ispirato al tricolore:
